A little note about the illustrations

I use AI assisted tools to help create the illustrations for my books. 

Each image is directed and developed by me, with the characters based on my real family and carefully kept consistent with the people, places and little details behind the stories.

Writing and creating these books is my hobby. With four children, two dogs and family life generally doing what family life does, I don't get an enormous amount of free time, but this is how I choose to spend what I do have. 

There are certainly worse ways to spend it.

Despite using AI as part of the illustration process, these books aren't produced at the click of a button. Each one takes me around a month to write, illustrate, edit, format and put together. There is a surprising amount of work behind every little book.
AI is simply one of the tools I use to turn our real memories into illustrated stories. The stories, the characters and the wonderfully ordinary, occasionally ridiculous moments in them belong to our family.

And, really, that's the whole reason I make them.
