Callum - 34 weeks prem

Callum has always amazed us. He started teaching himself coding before we even knew what coding was. Creating games has always been his passion, and now he's taking that passion into college, where he'll be studying Games Development, Performing Arts and Law.

Callum is represented by an agency for both acting and modelling, although if you asked him to choose, acting would win every time. Whether he's creating a character, performing on stage or dreaming up ideas for a game, storytelling has always been where he feels most at home.

Like many autistic people, Callum became incredibly good at masking. He went through mainstream school from start to finish and, from the outside, blended in remarkably well. Behind the scenes, though, he was working incredibly hard just to appear as though everything was okay. His autism gives him an eye for detail and makes him one of the biggest perfectionists we've ever met, but it also means he's often his own harshest critic.

Growing up, Callum's one-word personality description was "Drama." Everything was wonderfully theatrical. Whether he was opening presents, telling a story or reacting to something unexpected, he did it with his whole heart. It wasn't a name we called him, it was simply the one word that described his personality best.

Maria is an incredibly talented artist whose imagination pours effortlessly onto canvas. Watching people buy and display her artwork is something we'll never take for granted, and we're incredibly proud to share her growing collection with you.

Depending on the day she's Maria, Mimi or Mia. She answers to all three.

Growing up, Maria's one-word personality description was "Mouth." She was always chatting, always singing and always laughing. She has the cutest, most infectious belly laugh, and once she starts laughing, everyone else usually follows.

Maria is basically a walking Spotify playlist. If you've got a dilemma, she'll know a song for it. If something exciting happens, there's a lyric for that too. She'll often sing before she'll speak and, while we absolutely love that about her, we could probably all do without some of the extra-long notes she insists on holding!

Maria also lives with anxiety. School eventually became overwhelming, so together we made the decision to educate her at home. Homeschooling has allowed her confidence, creativity and love of learning to flourish at a pace that works for her.

Jasmine has definitely inherited her sister's creative streak. She's developing a real talent for drawing anime, loves baking and will happily throw herself into anything creative.

Like Callum, Jasmine is represented by an agency for both modelling and acting, although she'd happily choose modelling every time.

To us she's Jazzy or Jujy.

Growing up, Jasmine's one-word personality description was "Judge." When she was the youngest in the family, life naturally revolved around naps, feeds and whether she was ready to head out. We joked that she always had the final say, so "Judge" perfectly summed up that stage of her childhood.

Jasmine has learning difficulties, and we're currently exploring whether dyslexia, dyspraxia or dyscalculia best explains some of the challenges she faces. What she sometimes finds difficult in the classroom, she more than makes up for in everyday life. She's incredibly street-smart, confident and never afraid to have a conversation with anyone.

She's also mastered a skill that deserves some kind of award. She has a wonderfully sneaky way of asking for "just a little bit of help." Before you know it, she's handed you another piece... then another... then another... until you suddenly realise you're the one doing the project while she's supervising! It's become one of our favourite family jokes.

Sameena. Our beautiful little whirlwind.

After reaching many of her early milestones, Sameena experienced a heartbreaking regression. Skills she'd learnt gradually disappeared. She had started walking, then stopped again. She used to love playing catch, happily throwing a ball backwards and forwards, but that disappeared too.

She's still learning to understand spoken language and doesn't yet know our names, but she's recently started responding to her own, and every little step forward feels enormous.

What Sameena does understand perfectly is love.

If you're sitting down for more than a few seconds, there's a very good chance she'll come flying across the room and launch herself into you for cuddles and tickles. She has the cheekiest sense of humour and an infectious laugh. Although she doesn't yet understand our language, she somehow manages to make us laugh every single day.
